HVAC Submarine Cable
A Leading Global Manufacturer of Cable Systems

HVAC submarine cables are widely used in the offshore connections with higher transmitted power for offshore wind farm and power transmission between mainland and island.

ZTT is proficient in manufacturing  HVAC submarine cables for both three-cores and single core types and has an average annual capacity of 500km. ZTT has supplied more than 1,000 km HV submarine power cables since 2009, including three cores 220 kV and single core 500 kV cable.

Types & Purposes

For Oil & Gas

-Power supply from onshore substation to offshore oil & gas platform

-Connection between offshore oil & gas platforms

For interconnection

-Interconnecting grids of countries

-Power supply from mainland to isolated islands

For offshore wind farm

-Export cable to transport the total generated power from offshore substation to onshore substation

Advantages

ZTT has the capability to manufacture long continuous length HVAC submarine cables without factory splices as it is equipped with the state-of-the-art VCV lines, vertical assembly lines with big carousels and enough outdoor storage carousels for completed cables.  Moreover, the wharf is only 80 meters from the storage carousels, which can minimize the risk during cable load out.
