ZTT Successfully Launches China’s Advanced Self-Propelled Cable Laying Vessel - LanHaiLingHang

ZTT proudly marks the successful launch of "LanHaiLingHang", an industry-leading  self-propelled Cable Laying Vessel (CLV)—a significant milestone in strengthening the nation's offshore energy and subsea infrastructure capabilities.

Purpose-built for next-generation offshore wind developments and cross-border submarine power interconnections, the vessel is equipped with a 16,000-tonne cable carousel, DP-2 system, dual-cable laying system, suitable for far offshore and deep water installation, placing her among Asia's most capable CLVs. Upon formal delivery, this new vessel will undertake installation of inter-array and export submarine cables for domestic deepwater offshore wind farms across China’s coastal waters.

The launch underscores ZTT's continued commitment to engineering excellence, technological innovation, and delivering world-class subsea solutions that support the global energy transition.
