ZTT Australia is delivering the 1st lot of conductor and OPGW to Rye Park Wind Farm 330kV transmission line & 33kV OH power line safely and on-time.
ZTT Australia was successfully awarded the supply of the whole package of 368km conductors, 39km OPGW, Line hardwares, Stay Fittings and insulators, which includes spacers, vibration dampers, compression fittings, helical fittings, suspension clamps, splicing joints, optical splicing enclosure, spiral vibration dampers, post insulators and longrod insulators etc.
This is another project that demonstrates that ZTT Australia is the key player in the market who can manufacture and supply a full product solution on overhead transmission line beside the steel poles or towers.
Project Background:
The Rye Park Wind Farm is a 396MW wind farm project consisting of 66 wind turbines and associated infrastructure, located to the north of Yass and east of Boorowa, New South Wales, on the edge of the Southern Tablelands and the South-West Slopes near the township of Rye Park. Scheduled for commissioning in the first quarter of 2024, the wind farm is expected to generate up to 1,188 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of clean electricity a year.
It will produce enough electricity to power 215,000 Australian homes and reduce carbon emissions by 960,000 tonnes (t) a year.Once up and running, the wind farm is projected to generate an average of 1,188GWh of clean energy –enough to power up to 215,000 homes annually. Rye Park Wind Farm is also anticipated to offset 960,000 tonnes of CO2 a year, which is equivalent to removing about 300,000 cars from the road.
