Recently, Yancheng Dafeng Offshore Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Project was grandly held. "ZTT-Dafeng Submarine Cable System Project", one of major project, was invested and constructed by ZTT.
Dafeng, Yanchen, located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, is endowed with unique and favorable natural resources including the wind energy and light energy, 112 kilometers of coastline, over 1000 square kilometers of beach and nearly 5000 square kilometers of sea area, and extremely vast outlook of offshore wind power industry. The offshore wind power industry was a critical element of new energy and equipment manufacturing industry in Dafeng District. The "ZTT-Dafeng Submarine Cable System Project" commenced today was of great significance for building completer ecosystem of the whole offshore wind power industry chain.
ZTT went into the submarine cable industry in 1999, seized the historical opportunity of sea power building, has laid out two production bases in Nantong, Jiangsu and Shanwei, Guangdong so far, and further deploy one base in Dafeng, Yancheng presently, further boosting the comprehensive strength of the enterprise in the marine equipment field. Xue Chi, the president of ZTT Group said that we would devote to the development and production of ultra-high voltage AC and DC submarine optical fiber composite cables after completing "ZTT-Dafeng Submarine Cable System Project". ZTT will fully utilize geographical advantages of Yancheng by centering on Dafeng Port in the future, cover from Northern Jiangsu to Bohai Bay, concentrate on national strategies including "The Belt and Road Initiative" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" , and make effort to build Dafeng into globally first-ranking and domestically first-rate submarine cable production base.
The commencement of "ZTT-Dafeng Submarine Cable System Project" unveiles the prelude to the construction of ZTT in Dafeng, Yancheng, and inaugurates a new epoch for development of ZTT' s marine segment. ZTT will contribute more efforts to the construction of offshore wind power domestically and even worldwide with more quality products and services.
