Recently, the State Grid Corporation of China released the 2018-2019 new technology/new product evaluation results, ZTT’s four new technology/new products was selected, including
l Great length AC 500kV cross-linked PE insulated fiber optical composite submarine power cable (including soft connector)
l High strength aluminium coated steel strand wire
l JL3/GLB27-630/45-45/7 high-strength aluminum-clad steel core high conductivity aluminum stranded wire
l JL3/LHA55.25-800/550-54/37 aluminum alloy core high conductivity aluminum stranded wire
Up to now, there are ten new technologies/new products of ZTT have been selected into the promotion catalog, which is one of the few units outside the state grid that has passed the evaluation.
For a long time, ZTT has always followed the application demand of power grid, insisted on innovation, and led the development of power transmission industry with new technologies and new products. Over the years, it has developed batches of internationally leading products. The selected two wires have played an important role in further improving the energy conservation and environmental protection of transmission lines.
The submarine power cable [Great length AC 500kV cross-linked PE insulated fiber optical composite submarine power cable (including soft connector)], the first developed in the world, has been successfully applied to the State Grid Zhoushan, Zhejiang 500kV power transmission and transformation project, which represents the span of voltage class for China's marine power transmission technology from 220kV to 500kV, opening a new chapter for the marine power transmission.
